CAIRO—
Egypt’s opposition groups lined up behind a moderate leader comfortable on the world stage as their best chance to oust President Hosni Mubarak Sunday, while the nation’s military closed ranks with the government leadership but allowed protests to continue raging in the streets.
The moves continued to sharpen the country’s clash over whether Mubarak would resign. Events here present difficult choices for the U.S., which has been attempting to push for both the stability that the military offers and the sweeping political changes demanded by the opposition. There was no indication that the two sides would meet or hold discussions.
Fragmented opposition groups, including the powerful Muslim Brotherhood, put aside sometimes strident differences to unify behind Mohamed ElBaradei, a Nobel peace laureate who often tangled with U.S. officials when he led the United Nations agency inspecting Iran’s nuclear program. His entry in Egyptian politics is more recent. He came to Cairo last week only after the protest movement had gathered steam on its own.
I never trusted Elbaradei and I find it a bit ironic that he’s the leader of the opposition, this former NOBEL PEACE laureate!

President Obama has engaged in numerous high crimes and misdemeanors. The Democratic majority in Congress is in peril as Americans reject his agenda. Yet more must be done: Mr. Obama should be impeached.
He is slowly – piece by painful piece – erecting a socialist dictatorship. We are not there – yet. But he is putting America on that dangerous path. George Soros funds the Center for American Progress, which has been characterized as Barack Obama’s Ideas Factory. John Podesta, its head, led the transition team when Barack Obama became President. The Center has also become a hiring hall for the Obama team, filling its positions with former employees (among these was controversial Van Jones — who now is back at the Center).
Apparently, George Soros and his Center are upset that the American people placed a roadblock in their plans when we rose up and painted the nation red. The Center now is providing a blueprint of ways Barack Obama can do an end run around the people’s will by resorting to methods that will strike many of us as being improper-to say the least. Relying on executive orders, interpretation of regulations, rule -making and the like they are collectively a recipe for even more power being assumed by President Obama.
[The] Center for American Progress today is releasing a report, “Power of the President,” proposing 30 executive actions the president can take to advance progressive change in the areas of energy, the economy, health care, education, foreign policy, and national security. “The following authorities can be used to ensure progress on key issues facing the country today: Executive orders, Rulemaking, Agency management, Convening and creating public-private partnerships , Commanding the armed forces, Diplomacy.

With all humor, there has to be some reality, so you can relate, inorder for their to be a laugh. This video accomplished this goal. The so-called head-stomping incident outside Monday evening’s Kentucky Senate debate has received an enormous amount of media attention, but questions still remain. The big question: what started the scuffle?
The infamous video footage caught supporters of Rand Paul wrestling a MoveOn.org protestor to the ground. Meanwhile, the liberal activist, Lauren Valle, appeared on MSNBC Tuesday evening and speculated the Paul supporters had “attacked” and “dragged her to the ground” because of her work with MoveOn.
But new video evidence anonymously submitted to RedState captures the moments leading up to the altercation and seemingly shows instigating aggression on the MoveOn activists‘ part as a protest sign was forced into Rand Paul’s face through an open car window as his vehicle approached the debate venue:
While the video seems to negate the “tea party thug” narrative liberals like MSNBC’s Ed Schultz are claiming, it suggests the Paul supporters’ actions were re-actionary, not blunt unprovoked violence. Nothing justifies the ensuing behavior which threatened to harm Valle, but Valle‘s innocent victim claim doesn’t seem so innocent anymore.

Two thoughts come to mind. First this Rand Paul supporter should be ashamed for putting his foot on this lady and pushing down. He should , man up and make a statement of how wrong he was to do so.
This also is falling right into the trap, that the Progressives want conservatives, to fall into. Could this have been a set up? Perhaps , yet there’s no excuse for this.
Conservatives , need to stand tall, stand firm on their beliefs and move forward on election day.
